With 2012 off to a good start it is timely to remind Vendors that the best time to make sure your property is ready for the market is now, not when there is an interested Buyer who gets a building inspection and finds issues that you were previously unaware of. It is always more stressful and more expensive to deal with defects raised by a Building Inspector early in the marketing period so that you have time to consider any issues raised and deal with them in a more orderly and controlled manner. Preparing your property well also gives a good positive message to prospective Buyers.
